Cartoons Kids Are Watching in Chile

Many children in Chile enjoy funny and adventurous animated shows. Bluey tells warm stories about family and imagination. Pokémon Horizons has exciting journeys and fantastic creatures. Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir follows young heroes who protect their city. Teen Titans Go! mixes superhero action with silly jokes.

Try saying: “My favorite cartoon character is brave and funny.”

Toys & Collectibles

Building bricks are great for making houses, vehicles, and imaginary worlds. Trading cards are fun to collect, organize, and exchange fairly with friends. Mini figures and soft plush toys are popular too. Board games can turn a quiet afternoon into a family challenge.

Remember: ask permission before trading, and keep small pieces away from younger children.

Sweet Treats & Candies

Chile has many famous treats. A Super 8 is a crunchy wafer covered in chocolate. Chocman is a soft cake with chocolate coating. Negrita, now also known as Chokita, combines a biscuit, marshmallow, and chocolate. Manjar is a sweet caramel-like spread found in cakes and alfajores.

Treats are delicious sometimes. Enjoy a small portion, drink water, and brush your teeth afterward!

Books & Stories

Books can take you anywhere! Younger readers may enjoy Diary of a Wimpy Kid or illustrated adventures such as Dog Man. Fantasy fans can explore Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Chilean stories such as Papelucho bring humor and everyday adventures closer to home.

Choose a book that feels comfortable. Read one page in English and circle three new words.

Music & Dance

Children and families in Chile enjoy many styles, including pop, K-pop, movie soundtracks, and Latin rhythms. Bright pop songs can help you practise English because repeated choruses are easy to remember. You can also celebrate Chilean culture by learning simple steps from the cueca.

Make a safe dance space, choose a family-friendly song, and follow the beat. Clap twice, step left, and step right!

Hobbies & After-School Fun

Football is a favorite activity in Chile, and basketball, volleyball, skating, and cycling are fun too. Creative kids may draw comics, fold origami, crochet, build models, or make friendship bracelets. Others enjoy chess, coding, reading, gardening, or observing stars.

English challenge: tell a friend, “After school, I like to draw and ride my bike.”
