Cartoons Kids Are Watching in Chile

Looking for cartoon ideas? Familiar favorites for children in Chile include Bluey, Pokémon, and SpongeBob SquarePants. These are suggestions, not a live popularity ranking. Available episodes can change by channel or service.

Bluey turns everyday moments into games. Pokémon is full of adventure and teamwork. SpongeBob has silly underwater stories!

Say it: “My favorite cartoon is Bluey.” Which cartoon makes you laugh?

Toys & Collectibles

Building bricks, Pokémon cards, toy cars, and board games are familiar choices for playtime. Build a tiny town, organize your cards, or play a game with your family.

You do not need new toys to have fun. Make a paper character or build a castle from clean cardboard!

Say it: “I have a small collection.” If you trade cards, ask a trusted adult to help keep the trade fair.

Sweet Treats & Candies

Chile has some well-known sweet snacks! A Super 8 is a chocolate-covered wafer. Sahne-Nuss is chocolate with almonds. A cuchuflí is a crunchy tube often filled with manjar.

Crunchy means crujiente. Try saying: “My cuchuflí is crunchy!”

Enjoy sweets as an occasional treat. Check ingredients with an adult if you have a food allergy, and drink water when you are thirsty.

Books & Stories

Ready for a reading adventure? Papelucho, by Chilean author Marcela Paz, shares a child's funny thoughts and experiences. Matilda, by Roald Dahl, introduces a clever girl who loves books.

For English practice, choose a short illustrated story or an easy reader. Pictures can help you understand new words!

Mini mission: Read one page. Find a word you know. Say: “I like this story.”

Music & Dance

Let's move! Songs from 31 Minutos are a familiar Chilean choice for family listening. “Mi equilibrio espiritual” is one song you can explore with your family. Cheerful movie songs, such as “Try Everything” from Zootopia, can also make English practice fun.

Choose a family-friendly version with a trusted adult. Listen for one English word, clap to the beat, and make up a simple dance!

Say it: “I can dance.” Give yourself space to move safely.

Hobbies & After-School Fun

Football, cycling, drawing, and crafts are fun after-school choices. Spring is a great time to notice flowers and birds, too!

  • Play football: Take turns and include everyone.
  • Ride a bike: Wear a helmet and ride in a safe place.
  • Make a craft: Turn scrap paper into colorful flowers.

Ask a friend: “What do you like to do?” Answer: “I like drawing!”
